“THE ONLY OFFICIAL BRUSHEGG. The BrushEgg is used to help with the deep cleaning process of makeup brushes. The BrushEgg is, – Compact – Quick, Easy, Affordable AND Effective! – Reduces the use of Brush Cleaning Solution (which dries out bristles) – Use whichever Soap or Shampoo you choose – Smaller knobs on top used for Foaming & Lathering – Grooves on bottom used to agitate bristles just enough to release product, dirt, and oils without stripping them Smaller knobs are also ideal for smaller eye brushes (Fan, Liner, Smudge, Pencil) for extra gentle lathering and releasing of dried on products. Especially waterproof mascara and liner!!”
I know right? So cute! I was immediately taken by how dinky it was when I saw the bombardment of Instagram posts on this #BrushEgg. I’m also sure about the fact that there exists the pioneer, $25 Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleansing Glove and its followup/dupe/cheaper alternative The Real Techniques’ $15 Brush Cleansing Palette. But this ladies, is just $8 and is the quarter of size of the Sigma glove!
I own neither the Sigma Glove nor the Real Techniques Palette, so I can’t really give you a comparative analysis. But I can lend you my humble opinion on this little egg of cuteness.
The BrushEgg works as a finger(s) glove that seems to be made with really good quality silicone.
The raised grooves help form lather with the cleaner that you are using and also from removing product buildup inside the brush heads.
I have used it 2-3 times till now and have love the results. This is definitely an upgrade from using bare hands, as it is good news for both the brush head and your hand’s health. Bye Bye Pruned Hands!
The BrushEgg can be bought from its website here, or you can simply order it on Amazon.in for a nifty INR 349.
