3 Real Techniques Must Haves | Makeup Tools

Real Techniques brushes are the most popular amongst affordable make up brushes. I have acquired quite an extensive collection of RT brushes by now and I would like to share my top 3 with you.

Expert face brush// This brush is my favourite for applying and properly buffing in liquid bases like foundations, BB creams etc. This gives a perfectly buffed in finish which does not look or feel heavy but still provides the utmost coverage that product is suppose to. The dense bristles and rounded top helps make easy circular buffing action on your face. The expert face brush can also be used as a multitasking brush i.e. – for blushes, powder foundations for higher coverage and, even primer.

Miracle Complexion Sponge// The date it launched, it drew comparison with the 20 dollar Beauty Blender. I have always loved Beauty Blender, it is my go to equipment for a flawless application of my base. I really did not have great expectations with this 5 dollar Beauty Blender dupe. But the day I used it I changed my stance over this sponge immediately. Yes, it is softer and more squishy than Beauty Blender but the end result is equally good. What I want to say is that the only place where it lacks behind Beauty Blender is the “touch” and the “feel” of it. This product is excellent and gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Setting Brush// Probably the most liked brush from real techniques, the Setting Brush is a multi-tasker. If we go by the title, this brush is an excellent equipment for setting the under eye concealer with a loose powder. I also like using it for precision powdering. This can even be used as a highlighting brush or a sculpting brush.
