Met Gala 2016 | Manus x Machina || Fashion In an Era of Technology | The Best Looks

Claire Danes in Zac Posen – Glow-in-the-Dark Gown//
The best dressed of the night in my opinion. Claire Danes wowed the world with her glow in the dark gown. In fact, last night she was the only attendee to be trending individually on twitter. She also drew many Cinderella comparisons with her powder blue Disney princess dress.
Although minimalistic and less flashy compared to other celebrities, it was my favourite for she was the only one who abided by the theme of the night-Manusexmachina-fashion in an era of technology.

Poppy Delevigne in Marchesa//
The brit model and socialite wore a stunningly beautiful Marchesa gown. The whole dress was studded with jewels and the intricate design was just incredible.

Jourdan Dunn in Givenchy//
This givenchy gown Jourdan wore looked elegantly futuristic. Her stunning hair colour and gorgeous skin complemented the metallic silver of the gown.

Zoey Deutch in Dolce & Gabbana
Zoey Deutch, 21, wore this beautiful floral Dolce and Gabbana gown which was also Spring/Summer  and age appropriate.

Amber Heard in Ralph Lauren

Okay, so Ralph Lauren used a cheat code. Amber Heard. You make this girl wear tarp sheets and she will still end up looking amazing. The gorgeous actress wore an elegant Ralph Lauren gown which oozed old hollywood glamour. The actress looked breathtakingly beautiful as always.

Jessica Chastain in Prada//
Can this girl ever go wrong? Apart from being the most beautiful redhead in the gala, she was the only one daring enough to wear a bright colour(excuse the poorly dressed who wore brights :P) instead of a metallic silver.

Honourable Mentions//
These were, not my favourites, but better than the rest  or eye-catching for sure!

From L-R// Rachel McAdams in Valentino, Emma Roberts in Tory Burch, Kate Hudson in Versace, Taylor Swift in Louis Vitton and Kate Bosworth in Dolce and Gabbana.

I haven’t mentioned Taylor Swift or the Kardashian clan who basically made to the top of the lists in Vogue magazine’s best dressed. In my humble opinion there were too many silver metallics worn that night(of which two made my list) so amongst them I chose the ones I considered the best. Tyler Swift, who got the best dressed award, was not wearing extra-ordinarily brilliant or even a formal event worthy dress infact, it looks straight out of her 1989 World TourKanye West basically wore distressed denim jeans to a formal event so no and no.

So..who were your favourite this year’s Met Ball?
