Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion for stretch marks was bought by me not for the stretch marks it promises to remove, but because I was in need of a really rich and thick body lotion for my really dry skin.
I have to say that it’s cocoa butter fragrance is absolutely divine but it really doesn’t linger on the skin. My mum has it too and she has been using it for past few months. She recently lost some weight and as reason has some stretch marks on her arms and legs. After using it for 2-3 months, she did not find any drastic difference. Although, she loves its moisturising properties.
For me, it did not work either ways. I don’t really have stretch marks, so really can’t say much about it unless my mum’s experience works for you. Hydration wise, it really didn’t work for me. I have parched dry skin all over my body and the only reason I got it for myself is because my Mum was literally singing it praises.
Despite having abundance of moisturising ingredients, it disappeared on my skin whence applied and didn’t even give me a satisfying hydrated skin feeling ( you know what I mean :P).
I am not impressed by this body lotion at all. Considering I have really dry skin, I must say it might work pretty well for people with normal-oily skin. But I will definitely not recommend to people with dry/dehydrated skin types.
It is priced at INR 499 but it is available at good discounts on various websites. (linked above).
