Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Paint | Review & Swatches

“Long wearing eyeshadow for an intense bold lookScandalous colour impact! It’s the end of dull, subtle colour with this multi-dimensional cream shadow formula. Spatula applicator delivers high intensity coverage in one simple stroke. Waterproof and crease-proof with 8-hour wear.”

Have you tried these yet? I had no clue Rimmel had launched these in India as I never saw them in any of the Rimmel counters. I spotted it while browsing Koovs.
These have been around for quite some time now, but because of the limited availability of Rimmel in India, these are harder to find.
The eye-paints come in a lip gloss like packaging along with the doe foot applicator. The consistency of these is very very thick. I only have the above photographed 2 colours – Manganese Purple, which is a metallic eggplant purple and Golden Bronze, which is again a metallic with foil like finish and exactly what its named as.
According to Rimmel’s website these eyeshadow paints are “highly pigmented”, “long-lasting”, “crease-proof” and “waterproof”. I absolutely agree with all but one. These are definitely not waterproof, although I’ll also add that they for sure are sweat-proof. They easily come off your eyes with 1-2 splashes of water sans cleanser!
That said, for INR 400, I think this is an excellent product. Also keeping in mind that it is one of a kind drugstore product available in India right now.
I will 100% recommend purchasing. The eye paint can be worn on its own or as a base to a complimenting eyeshadow.
