Would you believe if I tell you that I had not been to a hair saloon for past 2 years!…Yep!
Last week I was in New Delhi accompanying my hubby on his trip. I had planned that I will get my hair done this time around.
The only reason I shy away from parlours is that I get bored. I just can’t sit there holding a magazine for 3-4 hours, I just can’t!
Anyway, this time around, I did the deed, got my hair chopped, coloured and treated. Whew!
If you guys follow me on Instagram you may have already seen these pics.
Just a precursor – My hair were almost elbow length and now are little longer than my shoulder. My hair colour was all over the place, most of it had faded to a brass/orang-y colour, plus I had remnants of the semi-permanent green colour I did with Crazy Color about 2 months ago.
The stylist used 2 different LÓreal Professional’s Majirel Permanent Hair colours on my hair in shades – 7.1 Dark Ash Blonde and 8 Medium Blonde. He wanted to give my hair an iridescent “3D” look, so when looked from different angles or under different lights, the colour will appear to change – i.e. from much darker to pretty light!
PS – The saloon I went to was actually a Spa inside Taj Hotel where we were staying. I’d say the staff and service was admirably great!
